Introduction to EU protective clothing standards and certification

The EU market requires CE certification mark for personal protective clothing, such as cold clothing, electric clothing, high temperature clothing, antifreeze clothing, chemical corrosion resistant clothing, anti ionization clothing, complete isolation clothing, etc.

CE mark is a compulsory certification mark for some products in the European market in terms of basic health and safety requirements. The European Commission has set basic requirements for protective clothing, and the standards are coordinated throughout the European economic region.

All manufacturers of protective clothing in Europe or outside Europe must meet the requirements of CE marking to enable products to circulate in the European market. Therefore, European consumers believe that the CE mark is a symbol of product performance and quality assurance.
